Biography

Mari Boman is a Finnish-born Berlin-based photographer with a BA in Photography with Human Rights from University of Roehampton, London. Apart from her research based photography practice Mari also engages in community photography projects.

The handmade special edition (and self-published) book Dry the River is bound by Marianne Bjornmyr. This edition is limited to 30 books (plus artist's copies for exhibition and competition purposes). Please contact me for further information.

2018 - 4 Years at Kunstquartier Bethanien, Projektraum, Mariannenplatz 2, 10997 Berlin 20-22 April. Opening on Thursday 19 April at 7 p.m. Group exhibition curated by the Ostkreuz photographer Thomas Meyer.

2014 - Dry the River at Brighton Photo Fringe 2014 (BPF14) in Brighton 4 October to 2 November. Vantage Point, 7th floor, New England Rd, Brighton. BPF14 launch party on 4 October.
