Hilda Hongell was Finland's first female builder. She was working in a male dominated environment about 100 years ago and was accepted to a architect school due to her talent, despite her gender. Her houses are old and have plenty of stories to tell. This project focuses on these unique stories, told by the people who currently live in them.
The project was funded by The Swedish Arts Foundation in Finland and Eugène, Elisabeth och Birgit Nygrén Foundation.
